描 述

Modern eco-agriculture is a compound system of modern agriculture and eco-agriculture. It is based on modern industry and technology and adopts the essence of traditional Chinese agriculture technology. It maintains increasing growth rate, increases the fertility of the soil, coordinates the eco-environment in the rural regions and utilizes the protected agricultural resources to realize high production, high quality, high efficiency, and low cost and establish a comprehensive agriculture system featuring modern technology, modern equipment and modern management. Modern agriculture aims at the restructuring and optimizing the industry and product structure;

increasing the income and improving the comprehensive capacity of production; reasonably using and protecting the natural resources with technology; preventing pollution and maintaining the balance of ecology; increasing the income; gradually building the modern agriculture with Chinese mode. Modern eco-agriculture includes the following eight aspects: first, to ensure the security of national food and the health of people under the guidance of modern food concepts; second, to depend on modern technology to inherit traditional Chinese agriculture technology and absorb modern high and new technology; third, based on the intense combination of technology and labor, to develop modern agriculture system characterized by intense technology and capital; fourth, to focus on the protection of resources and rural eco-system; fifth, to improve the quality of farmers and popularize the application of scientific achievements; sixth, to ensure the steady increase of farmers’ income; seventh, to guide the condensed operation and proper operation in rural areas by developing various operation modes; eighth, to optimize the economic structure of rural areas and to promote the combination of planting, livestock and fishing and thus to push the agriculture to develop toward product, social, commodity and ecology-oriented direction.

The development of eco-agriculture and continuous development not only suits the reality in China, but also the general direction of the world’s agriculture. Since the end of 1960s, many countries had put forward concepts such as organism agriculture, bio-agriculture, natural agriculture and continuous agriculture and put into implement. Because these modes are all directed by ecological laws and have the coordinated development of ecology, natural resources and agriculture, they can be all categorized as “eco-agriculture.” Since the entrance into 1990s, some countries took continuous development of agriculture as a basic developing strategy and made concrete action plans. Beginning from 1980s, China has developed a whole series of agriculture system. In recent years, China put the continuous development of agriculture as a long-term guideline and drafted the “Agriculture Action Plan for the 21st Century.” The development of agriculture and rural economy have entered new phase and the major task in the future will be the strategic restructuring of agriculture. Developing eco-agriculture and reasonable use and protection of agricultural resources will be benevolent to the shift of growing method of agriculture, will be benevolent to raising the life standard, and will be benevolent to readjusting, building socialist new village, etc. Eco-agriculture has the following features:Comprehensiveness. Eco-agriculture emphasizes the overall function of agriculture eco-system. It is based on big agriculture and the concept of “entireness, coordination, circulation and recycling” to optimize the structure of agriculture; besides, it coordinates the development of planting, forestation, and fishing to enhance the comprehensive productivity.

Variety. Based on the difference of climates, natural resources, economy and society of China, eco-agriculture combines the essence of traditional agriculture with modern science to exhibit the regional advantages.

High efficiency. Eco-agriculture realize the economic appreciation by material and energy recycling and multi-layer utilization, and it can also optimize the use of waster materials, reduce the cost and raise efficiency. It also creates inner employments and protects the initiatives of farmers.

Continuity. The development of eco-agriculture will protect and improve eco-system, prevent pollution, maintain the balance of ecology, raise the safety of agriculture products, and change the normal development of agriculture and rural economy into continuous development. It will also combine the environment construction with the economy development, satisfy the need for agriculture products and improve the stability and continuity of ecology.

This report aims at providing decision reference service to domestic eco-agriculture enterprises and investors of eco-agriculture. It will conclude the new developing trend of China’s eco-agriculture and provide investment suggestions by analysis on the status quo and developing trend of both international and domestic eco-agriculture.
